Watches and Wonders “has largely kept its promises”, according to its organizers. The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) presented its report on the event on Monday, which brought together 38 brands online from April 7 to 13 and 19 face-to-face in Shanghai from April 14 to 18. Supporting figures, she welcomes the “tremendous enthusiasm” aroused as well as “the exceptional echo generated throughout the world”.
The FHH, which announced before the fair 23,000 guests (media, retailers, VIP customers), indicates that 110,000 unique users have logged into the Watchesandwonders.com platform, while 12,000 visitors have surveyed the West Bund Art Center of Shanghai. By referring to the number of online publications using the mention # watchesandwonders2021 – 360,000 according to the figures communicated -, the organizers estimate to have touched “500 million people to date”, that is to say the equivalent of 5.9% of the world population. The calculation method is not specified.
