The pangasius, a farmed freshwater fish, has a bright future. Global demand continues to grow. Like other Asian countries, Indonesia is showing its ambition to make it an export product of choice. It can already be proud of a certain success. Thanks to Swiss economic and technical cooperation, Indonesian fish farmers have made their mark in the Middle East in recent years. Another example of the contribution of Swiss expertise, some 160,000 cocoa producers have benefited from training in agricultural practices. The result: the yield increased by 49%.
