Repeated success for Lara Gut-Behrami

Switzerland’s Lara Gut-Behrami scored a second victory in two days in the World Cup downhill in Val di Fassa (Italy) on Saturday. She edged her compatriot world champion Corinne Suter by 32/100 and German vice-champion Kira Weidle by 68/100.

Gut-Behrami takes the opportunity to increase her lead in the general classification, which she leads with 107 points more than the Slovakian Petra Vlhova, 12th Saturday, with nine races to go to the end of the season.

The Swiss is the big favorite of the super-G which closes Sunday the competition weekend in Val di Fassa.
