More and more companies are quantifying the cost of their emissions

Almost half of the world’s 500 largest companies by capitalization set or plan to set an internal carbon price over the next two years. In its latest report on the subject published Wednesday morning, the CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) observed an overall increase in the number of companies using this measure. In total, they are around 2,000, representing $ 27 trillion in market capitalization, or roughly a quarter of global market capitalization.
