LVMH is going up the slope. The French group, world number one in luxury, presented its results for the first quarter of 2021 on Tuesday. With a turnover of 14 billion euros (15.4 billion francs), it shows organic growth of 30% compared to the same period last year, and 8% compared to 2019, after several quarters of decline linked to the pandemic. A result higher than the consensus compiled by the Bloomberg and FactSet agencies, which respectively expected sales of 14 and 13.7 billion francs.
