This curtain raiser, Lionel Bovier has been waiting for a long time. It took place Tuesday at the end of the morning, in a patibular hall of the Contemporary Art Building (BAC) in Geneva. Sitting in the front row, the director of Mamco enjoyed the tirades.

The staging was not fun, but the covid muzzles the lyricists. Masked as it should, the mayor of Geneva, Sami Kanaan, announced a public-private partnership in the amount of 40 million – including 15 million from the city – to renovate the BAC. A historic step, he insisted. To his right Philippe Bertherat, president of the Mamco foundation, agreed, as did Pierre Gillioz, president of the Contemporary Art Center, and Michèle Freiburghaus, cultural advisor to the city of Geneva.
