The Alpine Skiing World Championships ended this Sunday with a Norwegian victory (Sebastian Foss-Solevaag) and Swiss disillusionment. The “best men’s slalom team in the world”, according to many international experts, fell far from the podium. Daniel Yule, who is having a difficult season, said he was satisfied with his fifth place (1”22 behind the winner) but Ramon Zenhäusern (eleventh at 2”50) and especially the duo Luca Aerni-Loïc Meillard (eliminated in first round) had a Sunday “without”.
