Critical reactions to the WHO report

The WHO report on the origin of SARS-CoV-2, officially presented to the press on Tuesday, elicits mixed, albeit polite, reactions. No Trump-style rants against China, but some criticism nonetheless. In a press release, the European Union believes that only a full investigation into the origin of the virus and its transmission to humans will allow “better understanding and control” of the Covid-19 pandemic. She considers the report to be “a useful first step”, a euphemism to point out that its conclusions are far from satisfactory.
