According to the tally of the University of Oxford and the Financial Times, 212 million people had received at least a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as of Monday, February 22. For its part, the World Health Organization (WHO) said Monday that nearly 60% of vaccines have been administered in ten countries in Europe, the United States and Canada.

The Covax, the mechanism set up by the WHO to facilitate access to vaccines in developing countries, has already reserved 2 billion. But the first deliveries will not take place until next month, with much of the production having been reserved by rich countries.
