Conflicting testimony in trial of former Liberian rebel leader

The historic trial of former Liberian rebel commander Alieu Kosiah has reached its climax. After the hearing of the defendant and the plaintiffs, the hearing of eight witnesses (six from the defense and two from the prosecution) is being held these days at the Federal Criminal Court (TPF), in Bellinzona. The pleadings will take place on Monday, during the last week of this trial, which is the first in international criminal law conducted by the TPF.
