A little over a year ago, in November 2019, the Riviera-Chablais Hospital (HRC) opened in Rennaz, resulting from the merger of five healthcare sites in Vaud and Valais. But, following in particular of decreases in activity, the hospital “the most modern of Switzerland” plunges quickly in an acute financial crisis, pushing the general manager Pascal Rubin to the resignation. Le Temps: Shortly after your retirement, in October you took over the presidency of a hospital in crisis, moreover in the midst of a pandemic. What did you come to do in this mess?
